ok so yesterday (2/9) was my official due date...so i am 40WKS!!!!
unfortunately no baby news in the sense of, we have no baby. i have an appt for next week mon (2/15) and if still no baby, i will be induced that tues (2/16). so in a week (or less) we will have our baby!!!!!! i am still b/w 2 & 2.5 cm dialated but the doc says i've thinned out even more (sorry if thats too graphic for soem of you). but all in all, moving in the right direction, which she is happy about, as am i.
everything is pretty much in place. yeah im sure we'll realize things we need as we go along, but for the most part we are ready as far as having stuff. i just need to make sure i'm getting the sleep i need and enjoying it!!!!!
however, we are very excited to have her come, and i know a lot of our friends/family are also anxious! i'm still pretty nervous/scared about the whole labor/delivery part....but i know i/we can make it through it! i just pray for a good delivery and a healthy baby! and i know heath will be there with me, so that makes me feel better!
and he is jsut so cute! i think he's going to make a great father. i cant wait to see him interact w/ our daughter! he's already so great with his nieces and nephews, so i'm sure he'll be a good daddy! i know im excited to see that side of him.
the weather here as been less than awesome. lots of snow which make slushy/bad roads. my doc joked that "bad weather" usually is when lots of babies decide they want to be born, haha. which, isnt our case so far. but yeah, its just so cold out, i dont think little baby b wants to come out!!
ok well tahts all the news i have for now. im sure the next time i write, i will be a mommy! craaaazy!
